I absolutely LOVE candy. There's not too many candies I won't try. It was only natural that my party would have an candy buffet. I found some great 80's themed candy buffets that I wanted to share with you. http://settingthemoodwithjamee.blogspot.com used bright 80's colors and 80's throwback candy for her 80's party. Check out her blog for more 80's party ideas. Another candy buffet that I used for inspiration was from http://catchmyparty.com. I love how cassette tapes and lights were used in this candy buffet. I also like how different size candy containers were used to give the buffet some height. Party City is the perfect place to go to get all your candy buffet needs. I also bought containers from dollar tree. They had bright 80's colored containers that were tall and perfect for blow pops or pixie sticks. Buying candy has been the struggle. How much candy should I buy? I want to have more than enough without having too much left over. www.candywarehouse.com suggest buying about 8 ounces of candy per guest (roughly the equivalent of four full-size candy bars.
