Do you have a music lover in your family that would love a music themed party? Or a little rock star that wants to rock out for their birthday? Here are some great music party ideas that are sure to not only keep your budget in tact but make for an awesome musical birthday! Back drop for pictures-It's great to have a place for people to take pictures to capture the moment. This easy DIY back drop can be done with plastic or fabric table cloths. Centerpieces- One of my favorite DIY decoration finds were these lighted cassette tape centerpieces. I used them in my 80's themed party. I found color changing LED tea lights at the Dollar Tree that are the perfect size and look great. DIY Record Cake Stand- I have tried this cake stand and it was super simple to make and super inexpensive to buy. Find some records at your local goodwill or antique store, Dollar Store martini glasses, a glue gun and you are good to go. Guest Books- Want a cool way to know who came to your party or event? A record or music stand-What a great keepsake from your special day. (I found these two great ideas on pinterest.) Cakes and cupcakes-There are many different versions of musical cakes and cupcakes. Here are some creative and unique cakes and cupcakes sure to be a yummy centerpiece for your party. Check out Lushome for more music themed desserts.
