I've been moved in my house since March 2016 and I am just now ready to decorate the space. We have a loft space that has been taken over by my 3 year old. In this space there is a futon up against one of the walls. That wall blank is starting to bother me. I decided I wanted kid-friendly art since I obviously wasn't going to get the space. Jaxson has in more words than one declared the space is HIS!!! On one of my many nightly pinterest visits I found the crayon art. I thought that's what I need for the space. So h ere it is!!!! Materials: Canvas (size of your choice)-Hobby Lobby Box of crayons Glue gun (multiple sticks) Blow Dryer My first step was to line up the crayons on the counter top by color so that I would know if I had enough. Then I began hot gluing the crayons where I wanted them. Next, I look the hair dryer and melted the crayon. The ends were tricky but I learned quickly that if you blow the air at just the right angle it will stream perfectly down the canvas and not pop on your arm. Hot crayon hurts! My finished projects. Now they just need a little TLC from the hubby to get them hung up!!
