I am wanting a sweet treat for Jay's Movie Party. We know that popcorn goes hand in hand with movies, but I want to do something different. As a kid I used to love the fruity flavored popcorn. I have used jello to make it before, but recently came across a recipe for Kool-Aid flavored popcorn. I think this will be the perfect snack for the kiddos. In a large pot, add the butter, brown sugar and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat until the butter is completely melted. Add Kool Aid packet. Cook for 1 more minute. Then add baking soda and mix well. The mixture will foam once you add the baking soda Pour the mixture over the popcorn stirring well to coat all of the popcorn. Spread popcorn out over wax paper to cool. Break into pieces and ENJOY!!!

My daughter's best friend loves Jolly Ranchers. When I asked Jaylah what her bestie wanted for her birthday on the list were Jolly Ranchers. While pinning fun treats on Pinterest I saw a tutorial for Jolly Rancher suckers and I thought his would be the amazing idea! Materials: Parchment Paper-I used waxed paper and the suckers tended to stick to the paper. DO NOT USE WAX PAPER Foil Bag of Jolly Ranchers Lollipop sticks Clear treat bags with twist ties Cookie sheet Preheat the oven 250 degrees. Cover a cookie sheet with foil first then cover the foil with parchment paper. Line up the jolly ranchers 2 or 3 to a sucker. I didn't have any reason for the pairing, but you could put your favorites together to create something epic! Put the candy in the over for about 5-6 minutes. Be sure to WATCH them. They really start to melt about the 6th minute. When they come out of the oven you have to be quick in getting the sticks in the candy. They harden fast. Press the sticks into the candy and turn the stick to get it covered in the candy. Some directions will tell you to put them in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to really get them hard. Others will tell you to leave them out on the counter to do the same thing. I put them in the fridge and it made taking them off the paper easier. Here are some of the finished products all packed and ready to go to the birthday party. No Valentine's Day is complete without something sweet.
