One of the most important parts of a party is the food. I love creating a menu for a party. Ilike to find creative ways to display the foods. The best trend that could have happened was the food bars. Waffle bars, taco bars, potato bars, dessert bars and drink bars. Once a food theme is found focusing on that one food and it's condiments or side dishes can make for a unique and creative eating experience. Other food bar ideas that I think would be great for lunch or dinner are potato bars, nacho/taco bars, or pasta bars. On my Party Food Bars Board on Pinterest there are popcorn bars, coffee bars, hot chocolate bars and many more unique food ideas for your next event. Check it out!
It's time to plan another party!!!! My daughter turns 11 in a few months and gone are the days of a Disney themed character party. Here are some great and unique themes I found that any 10-12 year-old (or even older) young lady would love. Instagram Birthday Party Art Themed Birthday Party Baking Birthday Party Spa Themed Birthday Party Willy Wonka Birthday Party Movie Night Birthday Party Jaylah's birthday is in April so we will do a few more months of searching so she can find the just right theme for her party! Monday, January 16, 2017 is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Many of us get excited about another day off of school or work, but let's not forget to take time that day to reflect and remember the importance of what Dr. King stood for.
Here is a collection of activities I've pinned from pinterest that will not only remind us but teach our children about the importance of equality and understanding of others.
Ways to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day
