It's been almost a year since I had my birthday murder mystery party. We had so much fun! The other day my mother-in- law asked me to find something like it for a party she is having and that made me of course need to post about these great parties! You can find scripts that require you to do a little a prep or a lot of prep. You can have scripts to read or have your friends use their creative acting skills to bring the the characters to life. The two things you need are a group of friends and some creativity!!!
Here are some tips and ideas for hosting a Murder Mystery Party that is sure to be amazing fun.
Do you have a favorite Murder Mystery Party idea? I would love to hear from you!
Nothing is worst than planning a party and you've got notes in different notebooks or sticky notes everywhere or maybe you are techy and everything is in your phone/tablet and then something happens to the device. Well here are some great party planning checklists and other organizational tools that will hopefully be a huge help to you.

The theme is set, decorations and food are planned. Next on the list is to plan an activity, game or craft. Let's go with a craft! Depending on the craft it can be a lot of prep work but it can serve two purposes. First, it's a great way to entertain guest young or older. Also, it can serve as a party favor-something guest can keep as a memory of the occasion. Here are some crafts to try!

My son's daycare does a trunk or treat night for the kiddos and families every year. I am totally thinking about joining in the fun this year! I was thinking about an 80's themed trunk! I have a ton of decorations to use from my 80's themed party I threw last year.
You can't think 80's without thinking of Rubix Cubes and neon colors. Here are some decorations from the party that I plan to use.
I also have an 80's graffiti backdrop, movie posters from the 80's and a strobe light. These can be used to decorate the back of the trunk or the outside of the car.
Check back as I fine tune decorating plans for the Trunk or Treat. Here are some more Trunk or Treat ideas.
