Happy Planning! Today I started working on party favors for the joint birthday party my kiddos are having soon. We are going to a fun venue and each of them will get their own table. My son wants a race car (Hot Wheels) theme and my daughter wants a cupcake theme. Hot Wheel Theme Party FavorThese favors were easy. Materials Hot Wheel coloring books ($1 each at Party City) coloring book crayons (less than $1 at Walmart) Hot Wheel Cars($1 at Walmart) Orange and blue ribbon (which I already had in my stash of craft supplies) All I did was tape the car to the coloring book and tape the crayons to the car. Then I wrapped the ribbons around the whole thing. Cupcake Theme Party FavorThese cupcake favors were a little more time consuming. Materials Fuzzy socks (These are hard to find at the end of winter but I found some at a local department store in the sock section) Nail polish ( $1 each at the Dollar Store) Fun card stock/construction paper Scissors Rubber bands 1) Roll socks towards the ankle. It's easier to get nail polish in the middle if you roll the sock with the nail polish in it. 2) Rubber band the bottom of the sock once it it rolled to your cupcake liking. 3) Cut the card stock in 3 inch strips the length of the paper. 4) Wrap the paper around the sock and hot glue the ends together. There you have it! A cupcake party favor! Party Favors-Done and Done!

It's birthday party planning time around here. Jaylah turns 12 in April and Jaxson turns 5 in May. Their birthdays are about 15 days a part. This year the idea is to have a joint birthday party. It's financially smart and would allow all friends and family to come out once to celebrate them both. Both kiddos love the trampoline park craze that's popping up everywhere now so that is the venue. My job will be to decorate the tables so that both birthday kiddos feel celebrated and special. Here are some great joint party ideas to think about it! InvitationsParty Table DEcorationsCakesCheck back to see how we are making our kids joint party special and fun for each kiddo!
